FOUNDER  & PRINCIPAL

Slovak immigrants, (Mosina, Mozena), in the Pittsburgh area. In this 100% European-
American culture, differences that made a difference were around religion and vocation. Gender roles for girls were particularly rigid and limiting.

A visit to Johannesburg, South Africa, under apartheid rule dramatically altered Lee's view of the world. Faith, class and assimilation continue to influence her work. Lee's passion is improving the leadership capacity of women from Eastern and Western feminist perspectives. To learn more see Sisters& Biz.

OUR NAME

Zenith is "the point on the horizon directly above the
observer". An ancient word found in Arabic, Latin,
French, Old Spanish and Middle English, a Medieval
scribe's erroneous translation of "senit", produced the
English word used today. Zenith symbolizes striving for our best while traveling on similar paths between heaven and earth, and is a reminder that we all share the same sun.

family name, "Demozenette', was changed to match those of Italian and
